Each year California 4-H and National 4-H offer great conferences to 4-H youth and 4-H volunteer leaders. The San Mateo County 4-H Council is very supportive to youth and adults attending 4-H conferences.

CAL Conference
January 22-24, 2010
Create A Leader (CAL) Conference is held every year in January. It is put on by the 4-H youth of the North Central Section Youth Council with assistance from the North Central Section 4-H Council.

If you are not from San Mateo or San Francisco Counties, but you have printed out the forms above please be sure to send the registration to your county's UC Cooperative Extension Office and make the check payable to your county's County 4-H Council.
This year marks the 20th annual conference.
Where: Walker Creek Ranch
When: January 22, 23, and 24, 2010
Who: 4-H members 11 - 19 years old by January 1. CAL Conference is designed for members from 6th-12th grade that are holding Jr. or Teen Leader positions within the club or aspiring to be a Jr. or Teen Leader.
Registration Due: November 27, 2009
Cost: $75 per delegate, a conference T-shirt may be purchased for $10 (optional) - Payable to: San Mateo County 4-H Council

State Leadership Conference (SLC) is put on by California State 4-H Ambassadors and the California State 4-H Office. It is held in August of every year and rotates locations.
